What are Educational Mini-Grants?
Educational Mini-Grants are grants given every year by the Cape Cod 5 Foundation to public school teachers throughout our region The grants are for amounts up to $500 and fund educational projects. Since beginning in 2000, well over 1,000 grants totaling over $490,000 have been awarded.
Who is eligible to apply? Public school teachers from Cape Cod, Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard, Wareham and Plymouth Massachusetts. If you are unsure whether or not you are eligible, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org before applying.
What is the criteria? Creative projects designed to have a broad impact – for an entire class, classes or grade level, or a large subset of students throughout the school as opposed to a small, select group of students are considered favorably
How do I apply? Each year the application process begins in late September or early October. We notify all local school principals and superintendents when applications open. When is the deadline? The deadline for applications is in late November. All applicants are notified of decisions by the end of December and checks are presented at a special reception in January or February or mailed directly to the school.
